Save the Date: Banquet 2024

We are excited to announce our 2024 Fundraising Banquet on Tuesday, November 12th. Our theme this year is “O But God,” which describes the nature of our college and work. Every day we serve women who are in difficult situations. Many times, there seems to be no hope…O, But God.” We witness mini miracles (and sometimes big miracles) when God intervenes and provides a way forward.

This year’s banquet is special. There is a lot to share with our guests as we unveil Ruth Harbor 2.0 and how the Lord is leading us to better serve the women and children He is sending to us. Each story is different. Each story is difficult. O, But God. God makes a way.

Welcome Faith Busenitz

We are pleased to introduce Faith Busenitz, whom the Lord has called to serve as Assistant House Parent. In her role, Faith will serve women and children at both the Des Moines Home and Carlisle Home.

Faith attended Faith Baptist Bible College where she pursued a degree in Office Administration. She grew up on the mission field in Southwest Alaska, in a rural village only accessible by plane. Faith and her husband, James, were married in June.

We are thankful to have Faith join the Ruth Harbor family and look forward to how the Lord will use her unique gifts and passion to build relationships and show the love of Jesus to the women and children of Ruth Harbor.
