RHM Banquet 2024
2024 Ruth Harbor Fundraising Banquet Report
More than 550 members of the Ruth Harbor Family gathered in Des Moines on November 12th for the Ruth Harbor Fundraising banquet!
The theme of this year's Fundraising Banquet theme "O But God!" is rooted in the work we have witnessed repeatedly, not only in Ruth Harbor's almost 25-year history but also in the lives of the women we are privileged to serve.
Pastor Mark Vance from Cornerstone Church in Ames shared a powerful message on the needs of the younger generation. His unmatched passion for empowering youth is making a significant impact across America.
Ruth Harbor Executive Director, Chris Eller, shared a ministry update, highlighting the changing world and how the organization is adapting a five-phase program to meet the unique requirements for our moms.
We received an alumni update from Nick and Sharlee, who completed the program last year. Since then, they've faced both challenges and blessings. We're grateful to continue supporting them as they move forward beyond the home.
Thank You!
The Annual Banquet provides a significant portion of the funding needed to serve and care for the mothers and children God sends to us each year. To date, the Ruth Harbor Family has given more than $280,000 to further the mission God has given us to bless mothers who choose life for their child, but have little family or community support.
If you were not able to attend the banquet and would still like to have your contribution included in our banquet total, you may give online today.
Our housing directors, Mathew and Casey, share an update on our housing program and introduce transitional care housing!
Our Alumni director, Sara, shares an update on the ways that we serve our moms after they leave our program.
Our banquet highlight video showcases all the special people and details that made the night special!

Suffering & the Heart of God
Attendees will come away with a better understanding of trauma, childhood wounds, how God created the brain, working within ministry related burnout, and how to effectively restore survivors.
